Our COVID-19 Response
How we are continuing to provide essential care to your pets, while protecting the health and safety of our community and staff.
At this time, we are minimizing person-to-person interactions. To do this, we are providing curbside services and accomplishing as much as possible over the telephone. Our lobby is open, but we are encouraging clients to call us before coming in, to minimize the traffic through our lobby.
When are we open?
We are open our normal business hours of Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm. Our after-hours emergency service is operating as normal and we can still be reached at (509) 493-3908.
What kind of appointments are we scheduling?
We are currently scheduling urgent or time-sensitive cases. This includes but isn't limited to: vomiting or diarrhea cases, allergy flare-ups, removing malignant masses, booster vaccines for puppies, and injuries such as lacerations or other accidents. We are still here to support the health of your pet. If you have any concerns, please give us a call and we'll talk through the situation with you.
We are currently not scheduling any non-essential appointments or surgeries. This includes adult vaccinations, spay and neuter surgeries, routine dental procedures, and nail trims.
Do you need to refill a Rx or pick up food?
You have 2 options:
Option 1 Take advantage of our curbside service!
Place your order over the phone and we will arrange payment and pickup. We are still carrying the same level of stock. If you are interested in stocking up on an item, especially food, call in advance and we will place a special order.
Option 2 Use our online pharmacy or Hills-To-Home websites to have products shipped directly to you.
Here you will find prescription and OTC products. As with all online pharmacies, we are experiencing a high volume of orders. If you are having any difficulties with an order, give us a call at the hospital and we'll help keep the process moving smoothly for you.

While it is everyone's hope that this pandemic will pass in a short time and with minimal consequences, we are preparing for something worse. Alpine Veterinary Hospital provides an essential service to our community, and will remain open for business as long as possible. Our goal is to strike a balance between protecting and serving our community, to keep human's and their pets as safe and healthy as possible.
